We are excited to share our latest project with you: What originated as a design project for twenty-six teenagers and several children of prisoners at summer camp has turned into a community collaborative effort to create a park called “Green Maze” in an impoverished area of Anderson. Although the summer camp’s design has already come to life in many ways, it is by no means finished. This is where you come in. We need you to help collect old cell phones and empty cartridges.
This is a simple fundraiser. We are utilizing the FundingFactory Recycling Program to recycle collected cartridges and cell phones. The program features free prepaid shipping labels, online accounting, and a business component that enables companies and individuals to collect cartridges and cell phones in support of our efforts.
Together, we can make a difference. While we will impact our community, we will also both benefit from this fundraiser. How will this fundraiser benefit you? It will give you an environmentally friendly way to dispose of printer cartridges and cell phones, community recognition for recycling efforts, and continual support to Silent Victims of Crime without extra cash donations. Please join our efforts to bring these deserving children in Anderson County a place to play, a place to just be a kid.
